The slides are up for anyone interested in them. Unfortunately several of them don’t make sense without the context of the talk given with it, but use your imagination. You might even imagine something even MORE EPIC than what really happened! Be warned! The PDF linked below comes in at a whopping 9.9MB in size.

One last thing: The guys at the CoCo are being generous enough to provide a cool opportunity for people participating in NaNoWriMo. Check out the promotion here!

October Writing Prompt

October 4th, 2009 tim Comments off

The writing prompt due by October’s meeting was submitted by Douglas. It is a visual writing prompt making it an interesting and creative challenge. Utilizing any style of writing you prefer, write something utilizing the following images. Try to use them all if you can! When you’re done, submit it to our mailing list to share with other members!

“My backlog of motivating photos and other art leans more to fantasy/scifi range than I’d considered before. I’ve picked a set that I hope isn’t too far into the genre than you’d like. Our first prompt encouraged us to show not tell. In addition to that I’ll tack on a sensory element. Use description that highlights a sense other than sight. Here you go:”
