Hello, World!

Welcome to the new web site/blog for the Oklahoma Geek Writers!  We’re a group of people passionately devoted to the writing craft in its many forms. No matter the writing emphasis, if you thoroughly enjoy writing this is the group for you. We welcome writers of fiction, non-fiction, technical works, blogs, code, haiku, poetry, and whatever else you can imagine. If it’s written and you can geek out over it, by all means come to our meetings.

Currently we plan on meeting monthly. The time and place are still to be determined. The meetings will consist of a variety of activities, from presentations, “howto” talks, creative writing prompts, reviews of written works, and of course free food/drinks. The direction of the group will be influenced by what you want, so make your opinion heard!
